61 - Baltic's Defense Halts Stone Creek 53-35 (12-17-60)

Stone Creek (0-2) (1-6) must have set something of a record for scoring--or should it be said for not scoring.  The Panthers tallied only 6 points in the first half against Baltic (2-0) (5-3), and only 2 of those came in the second quarter.  The lone goal was made by Dale Lehman.  Both teams missed a tremendous amount of shots, but Baltic did end the night by connecting on 20 of 48 from the field.  The Eagles also dominated all board play, by snaring 45 rebounds.  Larry Lautenschleger set his scoring pace for the winners with 22 points, as he made 7 of 13 goal attempts.  Larry Stephon and  Gale Sauser led the Panthers with 13 and 14 points, respectively.  The game marked Baltic's best defensive showing of the season.  The Baltic Reserves (5-2) picked-apart the Stone Creek Reserves (0-7) 30-22.
