KEENE - Despite a last-quartre surge at which time Port Washington (1-2) rallied to outscore the host Keene quintet, the Riders were handed their second loss.  Trailing at the stops 11-7, 33-11, and 49-33, Port waxed hot and moved within 2 points, 59-57, before a technical foul fizzled the bid.  Accidentally Port had called for a timeout at this point, with one minute remaining, but had already exhausted the allowance and was called for the infraction.  Keene dropped the foul and then added a fielder for the win.  The one-two punch of Jim Bender and Bill Phillips once again led the Port attack with 23 and 22 points respectively, while Richards and Brenley led Keene with 13 points each.  The Port Washington Reserves (1-1) ran past the Keene Reserves 51-35.
