61 - Gnaden Toys With Stone Creek 74-40 (2-11-61)
GNADENHUTTEN - Gnadenhutten (6-2) (11-7) all but toyed with Stone Creek (1-7) (5-15) in achieving its 34-point victory. Coach Ron Sakola of theTribe gave his subs plenty of action. The Indians maneuvered to a 15-6 lead at the end of the first period and continued to pile it on at the next 2 stops, leading 34-13 at halftime and 53-20 at the end of the third quarter. Bill Blickensderfer paced the triumph with 14 points, while Ray Rank and Gary Dichler added 11 apiece. Gale Sauser, Stone Creek's prolific scorer tallied 22 points. Larry Stephon, top Panther rebounder, also saw limited action, his first since receiving a severe ankle sprain 2 weeks ago. The Gnadenhutten Reserves (9-7) had earlier mopped up the Stone Creek Reserves (5-14) by a score of 51-32.
