61 - Gnaden Continues Strasburg's Woes 72-53 (12-24-60)

Coach Ron Sakola's Tribesmen (2-1) (4-3) had very little trouble with Coach Warren Binder's quintet (0-2) (1-6) who tossed up a zone defense.  The Indians shot over top of it.  Actually, Bob Ervin was responsible for the victory as he accounted for 19 of the 36 points by halftime by Gnaden.  He was the big gun for the night, too, as he canned 4 more points in the second half total 23 for the night, his career high.  Jim McCreary and Bill Blickensderfer added 10 points each, while Jim Clymer and Adrian Edie led Bengals with 12 and 13 points, respectively.  The Strasburg Reserves (6-1) edged the Gnadenhutten Reserves (5-2) 41-39 in the first game of the night.
