61 - Dennison Upends Gnaden To Win Own Tournament 39-32 (12-31-60)
DENNISON - Dennison upset Gnadenhutten (5-4) here last night to win its own holiday festival. It marked the second straight year Dennison has defeated the Indians in the Holiday finale. Dick Selzer led Dennison with 19 points, his best effort of the season, while John Neighbors contributed 12 points. Bob Ervin paced the tribe with 11 points. Gnaden, which was behind by as much as 24-14 in the second quarter, narrowed the gap to 6 points in the final quarter, but could not find the punch to go all the way. The Railroaders made 17 of 47 field attempts for 36 percent, while Gnaden could muster only 21 percent when it made 12 of 56 action flings.
