61 - Tuscarawas Valley Edged By Perry 64-62 (1-30-61)
BOLIVAR - A late surge by invading Perry (3-8) sent Tuscarawas Valley (9-5) to a defeat here Saturday night. With 4 seconds sto play Doug Keifer and Tom Reigle connected for fielders to achieve the victory margin for the Panthers. Ron Lake and Jim Studer connected for 12 apiece. Tighe Hurless led the Panthers with 16 points, while Doug Stewart added 14, Reigle 12 and Larry Lorenz 11. TV made 17 of 45 field attempts for 38 percent. The Trojans hit 28 of 39 free throws and the Panthers 24 of 34. The Tuscarawas Reserves (7-5) floored the Perry Reserves 52-40.
