STRASBURG - Strasburg (0-5) (1-11), still searching for its first league victory of the season, continues to take its knocks as its underclassman squad picks up valuable experience, which marks it as a coming quintet in future seasons.  Last night the Tigers led 10-7 at the end of the first period, but the battling Stone Creek Panthers (1-5) (5-10) surged into the lead spot late in the second quarter for a 19-18 halftime lead, a margin it boosted in succeeding firing.  Strasburg ace, Jim Clymer, missed 4 days of school this week due to tonsillitis, and was not expected to perform.  He went the distance, but tallied only 7 points.  Gale Sauser, Stone Creek's big man, was in top notch form and took the night's scoring honors with 18 points.  Cliff Endlich followed with 13.  Adrian Edie was high for the Tigers with 11.  Stone Creek ended the night by connecting  on 16 of 53 shots for 30 percent and made 9 of 14 from the foul line.  Strasburg managed to make only 13 of 56 from the field for 23 percent.  The Tigers hit 7 of 13 free throws.  The Strasburg Junior High team beat the Stone Creek team...score unknown.  In the Reserve game, Strasburg (7-4) won again as it edged Stone Creek (1-13) 38-37.
