61 - Keene Makes Short Work Of Stone Creek 82-57 (1-23-61)


KEENE - Stone Creek (5-11) suffered its 11th defeat here Saturday night when it dropped a verdict to Keene.  Behind only 34-31 at halftime, the Panthers fell to the also ran list in the second half as Keene tallied 48 points, 20 of them from the free throw line.  Mike Lower led Keene with 18 points and Walt Karr tallied 17.  Gale Sauser, of the  Panthres, took the night's scoring laurels with 22 points.  Cliff Endlich added 15 and Larry Stephon 12.  The Stone Creek Reserves (2-13), edged the Keene Reserves 42-41.
