61 - Dennison Ends Tusky Mastery 61-46 (12-21-60)
DENNISON - Dennison (3-2), which hadn't defeated a Tuscarawas team since the 1955-1956 campaign, did just that last night in the Railroader gym when it battered back the invaders. The last verdict by a Railroader combination over Tuscarawas was a 63-50 nod. Senior Jim Henry tallied 16 points to pace the triumph, while Dick Selzer and John Neighbors connected for 10 apiece. Chet Summers of the Broncos (3-5) grabbed the night's laurels when lhe meshed 19 points. Dennison dominated the boards and worked an effective pressing defense against the Broncos. The Railroaders connected 26 times in 59 attempts from the field for 44 percent and the losers hit on 16 of 48 for 33 percent. The Tuscarawas Reserves (5-2) edged the Dennison Reserves 30-29 earlier in the night.
