63 - Stone Creek Topples Port Washington 5-2 (10-2-62)

STONE CREEK - The Stone Creek Panthers (2-1) scored 3 runs in the 6th inning Tuesday to top Port Washington (1-2) in the County Fall Baseball League action.  It was the 1st decision in 3 meetings of the rivals this fall, the other 2 ending in deadlocks.  Cliff Endlich, Jim Barber, Jim Billman and  Jerry Labmers collected Stone Creek safeties.  Cliff Endlich, Jim Barber, Jim Billman and Jerry Lahmers collected Stone Creek safeties.  Paul Schwab and Tom Loader had doubles for Port, both coming off Ed Wallace, who made his first start since being hurt in an auto accident.  he received relief from Bud Sauser in the third.  Stone Creek broke away in the final frame on a combination of 3 walks and 2 singles.
