62 - Gnaden Belts Tusky Valley 14-3 (5-14-62)
GNADENHUTTEN - Ted Martin's Gnadenhutten Indians (10-2) had their hitting shoes on last night as they pounded out 17 hits in a 14-3 conquest over Tusky Valley (1-8). Gnaden scorfed throughout the contst, while Tusky Valley got all 5 of its runs in the 4th inning as stasrting pitcher Jim McCreary (3-0) walked the bases full. Dave Struchen (6-2) walked in a run and 2 errors let in 4 more. The pair gave up but 3 hits, walked 5 and struck out 6. Bob Jones went all the way for the Trojans, striking out but one and issuing no bases on balls. Four Indians had 3 hits with Glenn Miller, McCreary, Bill Davis and Don Garrett leading the way. Miller had 2 triples among his 3 hits. McCreary had a double, Garrett 3 singles and Davis a single, double and triple. Brad Kaiser had 2 hits, one a double.
