63 - Gnaden Beats Back Port Washington 8-7 (9-17-62)

GNADENHUTTEN - Gnadenhutten (1-0) nipped Port Washington (0-1) on Monday during opening day of the Tuscarawas County Fall Baseball League. Gnaden squeezed across the winning run against Port Washington in the final inning with Art Rauzi dropping a but to tally pinch runner Gene Bates. Don Garrett and Rauzi both had a single and double for the Indians, while Tom Loader had a pair of singles for Port. The Gnadenhutten Indians have been the defending Fall champions for the last two years.
