STRASBURG - Jim Clymer's tight one-hit pitching stopped the Broncos of Tuscarawas (0-1) dead in their tracks yesterday as both teams opened their 1962 baseball seasons. The Tigers of Strasburg (1-0), who were the visiting team despite the fact that they played on their home field, captured the victory. The game was originally scheduled for Tuscarawas, but the field there was too muddy for play so the game was moved to Strasburg. Clymer (1-0) fanned 15 batters as he controlled the game. Phil Summers got the only hit when he beat out a scratch bunt. Norm Fellers (0-1) started on the mound for Tusky and gave way to Maxwell (0-0) after 5 innings. Combined they fanned 9 and gave up 6 hits. After a scoreless start, Strasburg broke on top in the fifth ining with a pair of tallies. Three insurance runs came across in the seventh. Dan Sliffe and Dayton collected doubles for the Tigers.
