GNADENHUTTEN - The youngest starting quintet in memory will be introduced to Gnadenhutten basketball fans here tonight as the school holds its annual "Meet The Indians" night in the gymnasium. In addition to meeting the latest cage edition, which includes only one letterman, Indian followers also will get a chance to meet new Head Cage Coach Oren Thompson. A native of Beach City, Thompson replaced Ron Sakola who has taken a teaching position at Toledo. Slated to pen the season Tuesday hosting Port Washington, Gnaden is expected to use a stasrting array that will not include a single Senior. Thompson said the starting lineup will probably include the following:
Junior Don Garrett 5-8
Sophomore Gary Rice 5-11
Junior Bruce Kohl 6-2
Sophomore Terry Huebner 5-10
Junior Larry Rentsch 6-0
Kohl is the only returning letterman. Tonight's program and Tuesday's opening basketball game will start at 7PM.
