TUSCARAWAS - Jeff Maxwell (2-0) and Jim Grant (1-0) of Tuscarawas (3-4) combined to limit Stone Creek (0-6) to just 4 hits. The winning run came in the fifth when Fred Burmich, reached on an error, took second as the next batter walked, stole third and scored on a sacrifice fly by Jerry Grove. Ivan Summers had the only hits for Tuscarawas' Broncos.
