62 - Strasburg Falls To Port Washington 4-2 (5-10-62)

PORT WASHINGTON - Port Washington (4-3) came up with a hard earned nod over Strasburg (6-6) at the Port field. Each team collected 5 hits and committed one error in the well-played, even game. The Purple Riders broke a 2-2 tie after 2 innings with a lone tally in the 3rd and another in the sixth. Larry Laisure (1-0) hurled for Port and also collected a double, while Alvin Fillman had 2 singles for the victors. Dave Dayton (1-1) pitched for the Bengals.
