MIDVALE - Another brilliant pitching performance by Neal Beans (4-2) and a big assist from Tusky Valley (1-7) provided another victory for the hard charging Blue Devils (6-2). Beans and Dave Widder (0-4) were locked up in a fine pitcher's duel yesterday before the Devils struck for lone runs in the 3rd and 6th innings for the victory. Each hurler allowed only 4 hits. In posting the win, Beans struck out 14 batters, while walking 6. Widder walked 7 and fanned 6. Tom Mackey doubled for Midvale,while Tom McPherson and Jim Anderson had singles in the sixth inning clincer. Widder and Bob Jones each had a single and double to account for all the Trojan hits.
