The Gnadenhutten Indians (4-2) routed Baltic (5-2) in a County League Baseball game last night. Gary Conaway (2-0) and Dave Struchen (2-1) were on the hill for the winners with Dick Shaw behind the plate. The pair combined efforts to limit their foe to four hits. John Rice (5-2) was on the mound for Baltic and charged with the loss, while Gerber was behind the plate. Rice gave up four bases on balls, struck out 7 and was touched for 7 hits. John Weaver and Gary Fivecoats led the winners at the plate. Weaver collected a double and a single, while Fivecoats had two singles. Gerber led the losers with a two-base hit. Gnaden scored two runs in the first, lone runs in the third and fourth for the victory, while Baltic rallied for tallies in the first and third.*
