Tuscarawas' fine ball handling and all around court finesse was among reasons for its romp over Stone Creek (0-2) (0-6). The Panthers, who took it on the chin for the sixth straight time, were charged with 24 turnovers. Stone Creek looked as though it might be coming out of its current slump in the first period when it battled theBroncos (2-0) (4-0) to a 9-9 tie. But five straight bad passes resulted in five quick baskets and four free throws for the invaders and they splurged into an insurmountable lead. They were ahead 35-19 at halftime and 47-39 at the end of the third rest. Gary Caviness continued his high scoring antics for the Broncos with 25 points. Chuck McCahill followed with 14 and Chet Summers added 12. Larry Lorenz was high for the Panthers with 14. Gale Sauser contributed 10 points. Stone Creek took down 34 rebounds and made 20 of 56 from the field for 35 percent. The Tuscarawas Reserves continued their winning ways by roping the Stone Creek Reserves 54-10. In the Junior High games it was Stone Creek 45, Tuscarawas 32.
