PORT WASHINGTON - Charles L. Knight, a graduate of Fairmont State College, has been named by the Salem-Washington Board of Education to serve as industrial arts and English instructor here for the 1959-1960 school term, it was announced yesterday. Married and the father of one child, he served in the U.S. Air Force. At Fairmont College, he was an active member of the Sigma Tau Gamma social fraternity and Epsilon Pi Tau honorary fraterity. While in high school, he served four years on the Student Council, three years as president of the Thespians, and upon graduation he received the American Legion honor award.
