In winning their second straight game this season, Midvale's Blue Devils (2-1) (3-4) had a relatively easy time in downing the Stone Creek Panthers (0-3) (0-7). The Devils had control throughout the game and administered a stingy defensive press to boom in front 27-11 in the first quarter. Ron Breniser was the high scorer, potting 29 for the victors, while Ron Kaderly had his best night with 14 and Neal Beans had 11. Larry Lorenz led Stone Creek with 19, Merle Degen hit 14, while Larry Stephon had 10. Midvale will move to Gnadenhutten Tuesday for its next start, while Stone Creek will host Baltic tonight. Midvale Reserves (4-3) also blasted Stone Creek Reserves (1-5) 59-19.
