MIDVALE - Midvale's Blue Devils (1-0) got off on the right foot last night as they opened the new cage campaign on a 71-30 victory over Augusta. Led by the only regular from last year's district champion aggregation, Ron Breniser who scored 30 markers, Midvale was never in trouble as it took a 17-10 first quarter lead and moved on to victory. Warren Leggett and Neal Beans chimed in with 16 and 11 points, respectively. The Midvale Reserves (1-0) were also victorious handing the Augusta Reserves a 38-20 loss.*
