BALTIC - Baltic's Eagles (2-0) and John Rice (2-0) had victory No. 2 of the Fall baseball season pocketed away today after defeating Stone Creek (0-1) 1-0 yesterday. Rice permitted the Panthers only one hit, a single by Larry Lorenz. He whiffed 12 and walked 4 before giving way to Larry Lautenschleger (0-0) in the last inning. The latter gave up a hit to Hamilton, before striking out the side. Lorenz (0-1) was charged with the defeat. Gary Mast and Charles McPherson paced the Eagles with a double apiece, while Dale Lautenschleger had two singles. The Eagles will entertain Garaway Monday as it bids for its third straight victory.
