60 - Garaway Ends With Perfect 8-0 Record (10-15-59)




PHOTO: County Fall Diamond Champs - Garaway High's Pirates served notice that they will be a team to reckon with next Spring when baseball tournament eliminations begin, by clinching the County Fall baseball title Monday night when it defeated Baltic 9-3. The Pirates, who play Gnadenhutten today in a make up contest, ended with a 8-0 mark. Garaway High's Pirates who recently clinched the county Fall baseball title, ended their season yesterday with a perfect 8-0 record when Gnadenhutten forfeited a makeup contest because of a wet field. The Indians ended in a tie for second with Baltic.
