PORT WASHINGTON - Port Washington (2-5) took the measure of Stone Creek (0-6) 11-1 yesterday in County Fall Baseball League action. Jim Bender (2-4) went all the way for the hosts, allowing only two hits, while Terry Sauser (0-2) allowed seven hits in taking the loss. Gary Gay led Port with a home run and a single, while John Landon smacked out a double and single. Hamilton had a triple and Quillen a double for Stone Creek. Port's final game of the Fall season is set for October 8 as it hosts Garaway.
