FREEPORT - The Tuscarawas Broncos (4-3) went down to their third straight defeat here last night when Freeport's ball controlling Raiders held on for the victory. The Broncos have not been in the win column since December 11 when they decisioned the Stone Creek Panthers. Prior to that they had won four straight. Jay Rogers was the only Freeport player to score in double figures in the low-scoring contest. He tallied 13 points. Gary Caviness of the Broncos, one of the leading scorers in Tuscarawas County, was limited to 11 markers. The Tusky Reserves (7-0); however, continued to rack up wins by edging the Freeport Reserves 30-28.*
