WEST LAFAYETTE - Garaway's Pirates (6-0) continued to reap basketball treasures Saturday night when they frolicked to a victory over the host West Lafayette Generals. It was victory No. 6 in succession for Jim Stull's charges. It also set the stage for a battle of the unbeatens Friday night at Garaway when Tuscarawas Valley (5-0) invades for a Tuscarawas County Class A contest. Koran Zehnder's 19 points led the way for the Pirates Saturday. Jim Gerber ended with 17, Chuck Stingel 13 and Tom Andreas 11. The Generals, stymied by the stiff Pirate man-to-man defense, were led by Bill Shrimplin's 10 points. The Garaway Reserves (4-2) also won their game earlier Saturday by cuffing the West Lafayette Reserves 42-31.
