DOVER - One more Tuscarawas County basketball player has moved past the 300-point mark and 3 went over 200 points as a result of their efforts in  last week's contests.  Gnadenhutten's Dan Jinks joined Strasburg's John Studer in the 300-point circle with 303 points.  Studer, the county's top scorer with 365 points, has the best average and increased his standard from a week ago.  Jumping over the 200-point mark were Midvale's Bob Carlisle (234), Gnadenhutten's Bill Kohl (221) and Strasburg's Charlie Jones (203).

Strasburg maintained its pace as the most field offensive and defensive machines in the county.  It hiked its Offensive average from 78.8 of a week ago to 79.1, while decreasing its Defensive standard from 45.3 to 44.2 points per outing.  Garaway retained the runner-up slot in defense, its average increasing slightly from 47.6 to 47.9.
