67 - Garaway Wins 6th Straight At Coshocton 60-45 (12-17-66)








COSHOCTON - Rich Richaradson, Garaway's 5-5 Senior who had scored only 23 points in the Pirates first 4 games, almost equalled that Saturday night when the Bucs downed Ridgewood for their 6th straight triumph.  Richardson enjoyed his 2nd big scoring night in as many games when he led the Pirates with 21 points.  Friday against Tuscarawas Valley he tallied 17.  He combined with 5-11 Junior Errol Miller, who scored 20 points, to provide the Pirates an unbeatable 1-2 punch.

Garaway (6-0), which hosts Gnadenhutten Friday night in a Tuscarawas County Class A League game, fired in 23 field goals in 53 attempts for 42 percent.  Ridgewood connected on  20 of 59 tries for 34 percent.  The Generals were led by Williams' 13 points.  The Pirates held a 29-25 rebounding edge with Tim Miller grabbing 8 and Don Richardson 6.

The Garaway Reserves (5-1) copped the preliminary game over the Ridgewood Reserves 35-32 with Kim Ness, of Garaway, getting 16 points.
