67 - Garaway Rolls Over Newcomerstown 81-51 (1-21-67)

NEWCOMERSTOWN - Garaway (12-1) ran rough shod over Newcomerstown to the tune of a 30-point victory on Saturday night.  The Buccaneers jumped to a 1st period 20-12 lead and was never headed as it found the Trojan's zone defense much to their liking.  Rich Richardson swished the cords with 23 markers followed by Kim Sedwick's 17, Tim Miller's 13 and Mike Gerber's 12 for Garaway.  The Pirates shooting was much to be raved about as they connected on 29 of 58 for 50 percent, while the Trojans found the baskets hard to find.  A cool 29 percent led to the downfall of the hosts as they could only manage 19 of 66 from the floor.  Three men fouled out for Newcomerstown and Garaway was adept in taking advantage of this situation as they added 23 of 30 from the foul line for 72 percent.  Once again, no report of a Reserve game.
