NEW PHILADELPHIA - Tuscarawas (8-11), which takes on St. Mary Friday, trailed Augusta 7-6 before going on top for keeps with 8 straight points.  Great balance was the keynote for the Charles Etling-coached Broncos.  Rich Eckhardt, who was uncanny at times with his drive-in moves, led the way with 21 points.  He was closely followed by Russ McGlothlin who got 20 and Dave Paisley with 19.  Eleven of Paisley's markers came in the 3rd canto when the Broncos hit on 9 of 12 floor tries.  High for Augusta were Carl Michael with 21 and John Witts with 18.  Augusta made 21 of 53 action attempts for 39 percent and 8 of 20 charities.  The Broncos sank 12 of 18 fouls.  McGlothlin paced the Broncos in rebounds, haulting in 13.  Eckhardt and Ray McWilliams both grabbed 8.  As a team, Tuscarawas outrebounded Augusta 41-24.  The Blue Devils worked through Tuscarawas' defense in the early stages of the game, but were unable to take advantage of some good moves because they couldn't hit the target.  Turnovers "favored" the Broncos, 18-16.
