65 - Gnaden Takes Out Newcomerstown 11-6 (4-14-65)





GNADENHUTTEN - Gnadenhutten (5-1) upped its baseball slate yesterday by outlasting Newcomerstown.  Jim Jinks (1-1) opened on the hill for the Tribe, Terry Huebner (0-0) taking over in the 4th and Bill Kohl (2-0) in the fifth.  Bill Kohl was the winner.  Trojans loser Langell was relieved by Berker and McKibben.  Ray Williams and Brice Miller both slapped out 2 hits for the Tribe, one of Williams' going for a double.  Roy Williams also added a triple.  Jay Smith got 2 hits and Lapgell a double for the Trojans.
