LEESVILLE - Conotton Valley came from behind to beat Midvale (1-1) yesterday. The Blue Devils broke on top with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Rockets went on top with 3 in the fourth. Midvale plated single tallies in the 5th and 6th frames, but Conotton Valley overcame those with a pair in the sixth. John Whitehair was the winning pitcher, with help from Ken Beamer. Eugene Belba (1-0) started for Midvale, but Tom Hawkins (0-1) was charge with the loss. Whitehair had 2 hits and Conmice slapped a double for the Rockets. Hawkins and Dave Reichman both had 2 safeties for Midvale.
