ZOARVILLE - Nine lettermen, led by 2-year veterans Fred Clugston and Gary Adams, carry the hopes for Tuscarawas Valley High's baseball team this spring. At the helm is Jack Bair. Pitching is expected to be the strong note of the Trojans, with Adams and Sidney Smith leading the way. The lettermen, besides Clugston, Adams and Smith are:
Sam Wright - Outfield
Bill Johnson - Outfield
Dan Burrier - Outfield
Joe Duebner - Shortstop
Randy West - Second Base
BobLocker - Second Base
Adams doubles as a third baseman. Lost from last year's squad is Dave Widder. Gary Rothacher missed last season because of a knee injury.
