TUSCARAWAS - The Tuscarawas Broncos (2-3) whipped the Scio Panthers Saturday. Four Broncos hit double figures, with Ray McWilliams leading the way with 20 points. Dave Paisley and John Bihari both netted 14 and Butch Reed got 10. Jim Allensworth was high for the Panthers with 23. Tuscarawas, coached by Charles Etling, forged in front 15-12 at the 1st stop and then won going away, leading 43-29 at the half and 69-37 after 3 rests. Tuscarawas pulled in 53 rebounds, with McWilliams snaring 15. Scio jumped on top 1-0 and led 3-2 after the Broncos took a 2-1 margin. Tusky then led 5-3 and never was headed again. The Broncos drilled in 39 of a whopping 92 action shots for 41 percent. They were 12 of 17 from the foul lines. The Tuscarawas Reserves rolled over the Scio Reserves 42-30.
