65 - Gnadenhutten Hammers Tuscarawas 7-0 (5-10-65)

TUSCARAWAS - Coach Ted Martin's Gnadenhutten Indians (11-2) hiked its baseball record yesterday by thumping Tuscarawas (2-4).  Southpaw Bill Kohl (5-1) yielded a leadoff single up the middle to Jim McCauley in the 2nd inning and that was it for the Broncos.  The Sophomore whipped a 3rd strike by 13 batters and passed 2.  Gary Rich (0-0) hurled the final frame, fanning 2.  Tim Reed went the route in absorbing the loss, allowing 8 hits, walking 3 and striking out 4.  Terry Huebner and Kohl each had 2 singles and teammate Gene Bates slamed out a double.
