SUGARCREEK - Dan Andreas, after being benched early in the 3rd period because of foul trouble, came on in the final stanza to spark Garaway High (4-2) to a victory over Ridgewood's stubborn Generals last night.  Andreas, who incurred his 3rd personal just after the 2nd half began, scored 9 of the Pirates final period points.  With the score deadlocked 48-48 he tallied the crucial markers on a 3-point play that put Garaway in the lead for keeps.  He ended the night with 19.  During his 3rd quarter absence Ridgewood had wiped out a 10 point Pirate advantage.  Supporting Andreas in the scoring column, as Garaway wrapped up its 4th victory, was guard Jim Young who tallied 11.  In winning, Garaway snapped Ridgewood's 3-game winning streak.  Pacing the Generals were Regis Shivers with 13 points, Neil Honabarger with 12 and Phil  Duren with 13.  Garaway, which returns to action next Wednesday night when it entertains Gnadenhutten in a non-league game, hit 23 of 74 floor shots for 31 percent.  It added 11 of 19 free throws.  The General swished 19 of 50 field goal attempts for 38 percent and 14 of 23 charity tosses.  The Ridgewood Reserves started the night by blasting the Garaway Reserves 46-28.
