John Studer is the only Strasburg Tiger Veteran returning this season. Included in the photo is Head Coach Charles Huggins and Assistant Coach Jim Bieleski.
"Here's how we'll do it," explains Head Coach Charles Huggins to his assistant and leading scorer during pre-season drills. John Studer is the only letterman back from last season's 12-8 squad. Gone via graduation are such stalwarts as Rock VanFossen, Rick Hall, Tom Dreher and Ron Lab. Studer poured in 295 points last season as a Sophomore. Huggins is in his 1st year as Tiger boss, replacing Pete Shahan who resigned after 2 seasons to accept the head basketball job at Elkins High in Elkins, West Virginia. Huggins coached at Stone Creek High the past 2 seasons. The Tigers will begin the 1965-66 action at Midvale.
