NEWCOMERSTOWN - Jim Moner and Craig Wilkin each won 2 events yesterday to spark Newcomerstown High to a track victory over Three Rivers and Port Washington. Final scores read:
Newcomerstown Trojans 84.5
Three Rivers Yellowjackets 47.5
Port Washington Purple Riders 15
Moner won the 100-ykeard dash in 10.3 seconds and the 220-yard dash in 24.6 seconds. Wilkin took the shot put at 42 feet and the high jump at 4 feet, 4 inches. The Trojans captured 11 firsts all told.
