66 - Conotton Valley Takes Down Midvale 67-66 (12-28-65)
LEESVILLE - It took a long time, but Conotton Valley's basketballers (6-2) have gotten even with Midvale's Blue Devils (7-2). Midvale whipped the Rockets in overtime at Midvale last season, but last night it was the Rockets turn to howl as they topped Midvale. Conotton Valley led the Pete Hilliard-coached Blue Devils 11-9 at the 1st stop and 23-22 at the half. No more than 3 points separated the 2 cage titans during the first 2 periods.
