66 - Midvale Wins Track Meet (4-11-66)

MIDVALE - Harvey Byers piled up 18 points, Chuck DeMattio 16 and Bob Carlisle 13 to power Midvale to a track victory yesterday over 3 other teams.  Byers took honors in the broad jump and high jump and tied for 1st in the 100-yard dash and the 220-yard dash.  Carlisle won the shot put and discus and finished 2nd to Byers in the high jump.  DeMattio won both hurdle events and took runner-up laurels in the pole vault and discus.  Scoring was on a 5-3-2-1 basis.
