66 - Garaway Shutsout Strasburg 3-0 (4-14-66)

STRASBURG - Greg Troyer (1-0) scattered 3 Strasburg (1-1) hits in a near flawless mound performance yesterday as the Garaway Pirates (1-1-1)defeated the Tigers.  Troyer, in hurling Garaway to its 1st victory of the season, struck out one and walked one.  Glenn Miller (0-1) of Strasburg was charged with the setback.  Tom Ferris also saw duty.  The Pirates tallied 2 runs in the 2nd inning to provide Troyer all the cushion he needed.  They were scored on a single by Jim Young, 2 walks and a Tiger error.  John Fankhauser added an insurance marker for Garaway in the 6th frame when he reached base on a fielder's choice, stole 2nd, went to 3rd on an infield roller and scored on  a single by Kenny Tango.  Harlan Richardson of  Garaway came up with the only extra base hit of the contest when he belted a triple to lead off 1st inning action.
