66 - Conotton Valley Hammers Gnaden 79-58 (1-22-66)





GNADENHUTTEN - Dan Jinks, the county's top scorer, continued his exploits Saturday night with 27, but it wasn't enough as the Indians (4-10) lost to rugged Conotton Valley (10-3).  Three Rockets hit high double figures, John Conner getting 25 points, Jim Monigold 24 and Ken Beamer 20.  Bill Kohl contribued 10 to the Gnadenhutten attack.  The Indians led 12-11 at the 1st stop, but fell back 33-30 by the half and were on the short end of a 54-41 count after 3 periods.  Conotton Valley hit on 31 of 65 floor shots for 47 percent and made 17 of 22 fouls.  Gnadenhutten was 25 of 73 from the floor for 34 percent and 8 of 16 from the foul lines.  Rebounds favorfed the talented Rockets 43 to 27, with Beamer grabbing 15 and Neil Cadle 14.  High for the Indians was Kohl's 9.  Reserve game outcome is unknown and box score was missing.
