DOVER - Dan Jinks of the Gnadenhutten Indians is averaging 28 points per game to lead Tuscarawas County Class A basketball players. Jinks, a 5-11 Junior, remains in front for total points with 392. Sensational John Studer of the Strasburg Tigers, a 6-3 Junior, is behind Jinks in total points with 246. His average for 13 games is 26.6. Garaway's Dan Andreas, a 6-4 Senior, with 273 points in 11 games and 24.8 is another player averaging better than 20 points per contest. Strasburg and Midvale are the top team winners with 11 games on the plus side of the ledger. The Tigers have lost twice and the Blue Devils 3 times. Something will have to give Friday when they clash at Strasburg. Garaway is another excellent team with a 9-2 record after trimming Port Washington (2-7) on the 21st in a league game.
