MIDVALE - Conotton Valley exploded for 10 runs in the 5th inning yesterday in a a rout of Midvale (0-1). Ray Nelson (0-1), who relieved Bob Carlisle (0-0) in the 4th inning, was the victim of the Rocket burst. The victors, coached by Errol Jacobs, got 7 hits and a walk in that big fifth...and final...frame. Ken Beamer hurled for the Rockets, permitting 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. Carlisle and Nelson struck out 7 and walked 11, while allowing 13 hits. Terry Stocker had 2 doubles for Conotton Valley and Nelson had one for Midvale.
