66 - Gnaden Squeaks By Midvale 2-1 (4-18-66)

GNADENHUTTEN - Steve Moore (1-0) and Bill Kohl(0-2)  combined pitching talents yesterday to give Gnadenhutten (2-3) a victory over Midvale (2-2).  The 2 Indian hurlers allowed just 2 hits, didn't walk any and struck out 11.  Bob Carlisle (0-1) and Harvey Byers (1-0) permitted only one Indian to get a hit, but walked 7.  They fanned 4.  Gnaden scored a run in the 3rd inning as Don Baker squeezed (1) in Terry Huebner.  In the fourth, Ken Huprich (1) sent in Kohl who had doubled (1).  Midvale's only run came in the 1st frame as Byers doubled (1)and came home on an outfield error.  Carlisle had Midvale's other hit, a triple (1).
