ZOARVILLE - The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (5-12) ended the season on a sad note in a 25-point drubbing by Tuslaw. TV was only able to contain the Tuslaw Mustangs in the opening minutes of the game as the score was tied 2-2, 4-4 and 6-6. After that the Mustangs whacked the Trojans. Tuslaw had quasrter leads of 16-9, 29-17 and 50-30 as 4 men led the scoring parade for Tuslaw.
Larry Aman was the leading scorer for the Mustangs as he caged 18 points and was trailed by Randy Bickel, Larry Jenkins and Tim Krotty with 15, 12 and 11 points. Leading the scoring parade for the Trojans were Dick Harvey with 13 and being followed closely by Dave Clugston with 12. In the rebounding department Aman pulled in 15 of the Mustangs 52 as the Trojans had 2 men leading in the rebound department with Larry Adams and Tom Shroyer gathering in 6 each. Tusky Valley had a very cold night from the floor as they hit only 17 of 61 action shots for a low 27 percent. Tuslaw, on the other hand, had a very hot night as it caged 22 of 52 for 41 percent. Tuslaw hit 23 of 32 from the charity stripe and the Trojans were 8 of 17. There was no hint of a Reserve game.
