67 - Tuscarawas Breezes By Port Washington 70-65 (2-3-67)








TUSCARAWAS - The Tuscarawas Broncos (2-4) (10-7) romped to their 10th win here last night, by handing Port Washington (2-4) (10-6) a 5-point loss.  Tusky never trailed in the contest, leading as much as 15 points in the 3rd quarter.  The Broncos led after the first 3 stops at 19-13, 36-29 and 55-43.  John Bihari led the Tuscarawas scoring attack with 22 points.  He was followed by Fred Rausch's 12 and Tracey Knisley's 11.  Jeff Huston set the pace for the Riders with 20 markers.  Greg Bender and Mike Peeper had 16 and 10 points, respectively.  The Broncos connected on 28 of 76 action shots for 37 percent, while Port was good on 24 of 89 for a "cool" 27 percent.  From the foul  line, Tuscarawas was 14 of 30 and Port 17 of 25.  Bihari had a big night under the boards, pulling down 28 of the team's 60.  The Purple Riders had a team totalof 40, with Huston garnering 16.  Tusky was guilty of 16 turnovers and Port 13.

The Tuscarawas Reserves (12-5) floored the Port Washington Reserves (6-10) 51-27.
