62 - Baltic Upends Fresno 38-33 For 1st Victory (11-28-61)
FRESNO - The Baltic Eagles (1-3) snapped their 3-game losing streak last night, flying past Fresno (0-1) at the Coshocton County school. In the close battle, Baltic led all the way, but by slim margins. Larry Kaser led the victors with 13 points, while Butch Gibbs and Don Ames topped the hosts with 11 markers each. It was the opening game for Fresno and its new coach Bill Schneider, while the win was the first for rookie coach Errol Jacobs of the Eagles. The Fresno Reserves (1-0) rocked the Baltic Reserves (0-2) 33-12.
