61 - Port Washington Nips Strasburg 7-5 (4-27-61)

STRASBURG - Gary Gay and Ken Gay of Port Washington (2-1) were instrumental in skipping past Strasburg (1-4) (1-5) after 8 innings of play. Ken Gay (1-0) received his first win in relief after a trio of Rider pitchers permitted 10 hits. Jim Clymer (0-3) went the route for Strasburg, allowing 11 hits. Gary Gay went 3 for 3 for Port, including a double, Jim Hannahs had 2 doubles and Jim Bender 3 for 4. Frank Weiling pounded a single and double for the Bengals and Clymer and Dan Sliffe had 2 hits each.
